1. Adaptor kit for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup seat head lateral protectors
An adaptor kit (consisting of bushes, distance pieces and bolts) for the fitting of the head lateral protectors with part number 993.510.058.0 is now available.
2. Porsche 911 GT3 Cup brake fluid:
Porsche recommends the use of Castrol SRF brake fluid (boilng point approx. 40ºC higher than the original AT200 brake fluid).
3. Brake caliper seals:
Porsche recommends that after every race with high brake temperature loading (e.g. Imola) that the front axle brake caliper seals should be replaced. (Brake seal kit consists of 4 seal rings. Price DM 143,52 inclusive of sales tax).
4. Porsche system tester:
Note: there is no PC software available yet
5. Cost of Porsche engine test bed:
Customers who wish to obtain the use of the performance engine test bed will be charged an amount of DM 2,300 incl. sales tax. Mr. Kienle is the contact for orders.
6. Possible consequences of mis-shifting the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car:
In the case of a mis-shift (over-revving) of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, the possibility exists that the pressure plate will be damaged. As a consequnce, vibrations can appear. If driven further, other consequences (e.g. impulse sensor not functioning or being destroyed, gearbox housing damage, etc.) can be expected.
7. Compulsory technical changes to the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup:
We point oout to you that the following technical changes have to be carried out (the changes should be carried out before Imola):
a. Fitting of the long support to the gearbox mounting bracket.
b. Ventilation openings in the tunnel cover
c. Fixing of rear underfloor to gearbox.
d. Fitting of water cooler protective meshing.
e. Brake ducts to be secured with hose-clip.
f. Water temperature warning lamp to be fitted.
g. Lap seat belt to be fitted with steel bushes.
