Gearbox oil:
After a check in Weissach, it has been discoverd that approximately 1.5 litres too much gearbox oil has been filled into all gearboxes. Due to this, the gearbox oil level has to be checked before the cars are driven i.e. the oil level should be just below the gearbox oil filling hole. The gearbox is filled with 4 litres of gearbox oil upon first filling.
Water cooling:
Due to the Porsche GT3 Cup car being watercooled without any electrical fan assistance, the cars should be cooled down on the in-lap. For the same reason, the cars may not be left running for long periods.
